Variable-Frequency Inverter (VFD) FLC500
The FLC 500 frequency controller is designed for robust applications that require V/F or Vector Control. The simplicity of this frequency controller translates into easy adjustment and robustness/reliability. Additionally, its compact design and preparation for DIN rail mounting for powers up to 18.5kW make it easy to integrate into a panel or switchgear cabinet.
The higher power models have their own coated steel enclosure.
This type of frequency controller is suitable for a wide range of applications. Typical applications for this frequency controller include compressors, fans, pumps, conveyors, hoisting equipment, general machine construction, and more. The frequency controller is suitable for asynchronous AC motors / 3-phase motors. The control method can be V/F (Voltage Frequency ratio) with slip compensation or Vector Control. Control can be done using digital inputs, a potentiometer, and the display interface.
Various bus systems are also available.
Special heavy-duty coating of the electrical components provides protection against dust, moisture, chemical exposure, and vibrations. The frequency controller is designed with the aim of minimizing EMC and complies with the European Directive 2002/95/EC, Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment.
